The opportunity: 

As a Business Analyst for the Solutions Team, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, as well as to provide insights and recommendations for the development of effective business solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable plans and solutions that drive organizational success. 


What you'll do: 

  • Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, users, and technical teams, to elicit and document business requirements, objectives, and success criteria for proposed solutions. 
  • Analysis and Documentation: Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Document findings, business rules, use cases, and functional specifications in clear and concise manner. 
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions that meet business needs and align with organizational goals. 
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to provide insights into business performance, trends, and patterns. Identify opportunities for optimization and innovation based on data-driven analysis. 
  • Business Process Mapping: Map current and future state business processes, identifying areas for optimization, automation, and enhancement to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business objectives, priorities, and proposed solutions. Communicate effectively to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks and dependencies associated with proposed solutions, providing recommendations and mitigation strategies to ensure successful implementation and adoption. 
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with testing teams to develop test plans, scenarios, and scripts based on business requirements. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solution functionality and ensure alignment with business needs. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the business domain. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and optimization. 


Who you are:

  • Educated and experienced: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Your resume boasts a solid track record as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, where you've honed your understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques. 
  • Problem Solver: With your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, you're not just solving puzzles—you're identifying patterns, analyzing complex data, and drawing actionable insights that drive business success. 
  • Communicator: You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams. 
  • Experienced in Software Development Projects: You have a proven track record in requirements gathering, creating detailed documentation, and designing solutions that align with business objectives. 
  • Agile Enthusiast: You thrive in Agile development environments with your familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Tech savvy: Proficiency in using business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar software is second nature to you.
